[TechAssist] Sony SL-2500 Beta Dead

Model: SL-2500 Beta VCR
Symptom: Dead
Received today a Sony Beta VCR for repair. Not sure this is worth digging into
unless it may be something simple. Unit is totally dead. No display or any
action when the power button is pushed. Primary fuse, F1, is fine. No schematic
on this one and the unit is pretty compact so I hate to dig into it without
some advance help. Any help would be appreciated.
