Sony has a 900 number for non authorized servicers, 900-733-7669.

Very strange symptom, 2000 model
The remote works normal if I hold any button on set.
There were no spills and I removed the set keyboard and still
no remote action.
the power button is the only one that works on the set.
also just discovered that the remote will go to setup, service
mode, with out holding a button on the set.
I did the 8 reset, but no help.
I am not Sony authorized.
Is there any number I can call to talk to Sony?
