Installed new CRT PCB (PWB-B), Sharp part # DUNTKB568WEV1G for an intermittent CRT arcing problem only to find with the new CRT PCB, the raster was very dark and appeared to be low G2 from the symptom. When G2 was increased from that point, retrace would appear very soon. Took old and new boards side by side to do close physical inspection to see if there were any differences in components which all were the same, that is all that were there! It turned out that the new PCB did not have resistor (R892) installed. This is a 330 ohm, 1/8 watt resistor, Sharp part # VRD-RA2BE331G*. I transferred the resistor from olf PCB to new and then picture was normal with the new PCB.
