There are 2 versions of the DS31650. Chassis 31650-00 uses a switch mode PS
and is found in Sams 3967. Chassis 31650-02/03/04 uses a linear PS with a
STR30130 and is found in Sams 3956. They are totally different. Both
versions have a ripple filter Q491 that can affect the audio but I am not
sure if that is your only problem. It sounds like shutdown is your main
(first) problem. Let me know if I can help. John.
