[TechAssist] Samsung TV/VCR, TVN5054, "FACTORY" on screen

Friends,
The Samsung combo works fine except it has the word FACTORY in red
letters in the middle of the screen. If the channel is changed, it goes
away, but returns in a few seconds.
This set may be made for other countries. Has two round pins for A/C
input and operates on 100-240 VAC, 50 or 60 Hz.
Does anyone know how I can remove FACTORY from the screen?
