Wide Screen HDTV monitor TV.
Red Convergence bowing.
ICZ104 is an STK392-040.
I had an STK392-020 in stock,so I installed it to confirm that ICZ104 WAS
bad......and it was.
Searching model HCL4715,Tritronics had what they called a 'Convergence
Board', AA95-00706C, $117.01 (my cost).Which subbed to a BP95-00155A $80.86.
Are these STK392's or is it the entire PCB(which includes Flyback) ???

Anyway,I searched Tritronics for an STK392-040,$14.89.....subs were
TT-STK392-040(misc) $12.89
29305133(Toshiba) $30.40
C5AA00000107(Panasonic) $28.31...... needless to say I ordered the
TT-392-040, $12.89.

You guessed it,after installing it there were what looked like Green
convergence problems.
Re-installed the -020,and Convergence is Good again.
After closer inspection, the OEM is marked on the back of the Chip,392040A
The one I ordered from Tritronics is 392040B,and the -020 I had in Stock is
marked 392020A..............the -040A must be what I need.

The Datasheets show there IS a difference in the -020 and -040.Higher
Current Rating(I) and Scanning Rates/Frequency for the -040.
It appears the -040 is used because of the higher HDTV Scanning
Rates/Frequency(s).

I'm sure you already know my question, and I'm sure I already know your
answers..... :-))
I'm trying to get around buying that $80 OEM......by using a Generic -040A
version.
Where can I get one ???
Has anyone been down this road with this model Samsung ???
I'm curious if the OEM 'Sub' (BP95-) is yet another version of this STK392 ???
Service bulletins ???
