I replaced the bulb and ballast with Philips upgrade and the set came on with normal picture. I then tried to reset the timer lamp by entering service mode and the lamp would not start up again no matter how many times I tried. I took it apart and realized the color wheel was not starting so I manually tried starting it with no change. I checked voltages to ballast and both 5v and 138v checked ok. I suspected bad ballast and got another one with same results- initially starts up then will not come back on after shut down. The customer said it was very tempermental and would not always come on before the bulb finally blew. Lamp led blinks then cycles on and off three times with sound then shuts off. Anyone seen this? Any help would be appreciated.
