[TechAssist] STK392-040

Friend has a Samsung HCL4715W with convergence problems.
It uses STK392-040.........is there a higher rated version, say an -060 or
-080 ???
She said she's called Samsung and they told her these chips would have to
be replaced every couple of years.
Samsung must know of the problems they are having with these -040's.
Anyway,I've seen mentioned in WinStips of replacing the Board,but it
appears to be NLA from Tritronics.
Tritronics sells an -040E version of this chip,calling it 'lead free'.....
is that one better rated ???
