desarate measures? As long as that cable does not need to flex , only connect two stationary items, try this: Use wirewrap (very fine solid ) wire to solder between the connectors. Notice that there is always about 2mm or so exposed when it is installed. this part can be commendeered for your wire connection. I would suggest that you mark this area and then use a stainless steel "barrier" to avoid solder getting on the contact portion during the soldering operation.
