Sam's folder 4267 or 4283, E-8 chassis, strange behavior, plays for about
one hour, all voltages, switcher and scan OK , right on the button, set goes
into horizontal shutdown, all scan voltages are out, switcher voltages OK,press
the power button, you get sound, all scan voltages are back, filament is
lit, vertical Ok, screen voltage OK, black screen, raising the screen, vertical
retrace lines, where the scope was showing video input to the CRT socket,
now flat line, but it gets even more interesting, touch any one of the cathode
pins on the crt socket, and you get your video back! Bad Jungle chip, or
maybe bad CRT? Anyone with experience on this jewel? Thanks for any suggestions,
Garbis.
