Larry; Partsfinder is a little tricky in that respect. If you can uninstall it, do so. Then use the "Run" and direct it to you CD drive, and click on the .exe file. Should work. This is providing you have a "good" copy of ESI. -Ed- Ed Gaidies Tel-Tek Electronics Ontario-Canada teltek3@xxxxxxxxxxxx -----Original Message----- From: techassist-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:techassist-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Larry Eastman Sent: Wednesday, December 03, 2003 7:52 PM To: techassist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [TechAssist] Re: RCA PTK195MA need part # for IR circuit Jim, I didn`t see any "run set-up" when I installed the disk, it ran through a few pages of hitting "next" and then asked if I wanted to run it off the disk or put it on my hard drive, with a warning that if I wanted to put it on the hard drive I would have to do a "setup" or something similiar first, so I tried running it off the disk but I guess the 332 meg is too big for the "D" drive because it won`t run, I have no idea how to do that or where to find it so I can`t stick it on the hard drive, My grandson knows more about computers than I do so it`s more than likely my fault that I can`t get it to work, thanks for the reply mayby I`ll try it again tomorrow, Larry E Larry Eastman American TV & Electronics Crystal River, Fl. 34428 becyn wrote: >Did you run the setup included on the disk? >They use a proprietary browser! >Once installed they always run smooth as glass.
