Jason
Hope this doesn't double post. Mail is acting weird and slow. Apparently when
we ordered this, one cable was on back order. Several days later we got the
TECI1 board and 4 cables. One is a 7 to 10 pin and another is a 7 to 4 pin.
Plus 2 gray 3-pin cables which I think are for convergence.

I saw the factory plug and thought it may have to be connected to that but
my TECI1 adapter did NOT come with a 7 to 10 pin connector. That connector
is in 2 rows of 5 and all of the ones I have have one row and none have 10
wholes.

Did your adapter come with this cable or did you have to order it
separately?

Thanks

Set came in dead. Would pulse three times at turn on. Ordered CCAB3686 TECI1
board and cables from Sencore. With the TECI1 board use the 7 to 10 pin
adapter cable that comes with it. Connect on the back of the set below the
RF connector where it says "for factory use only". Ran CC. Gave a Code 33 -
deflection safety circuit active or BV500 not connected. Basically, turns
out a pincushion problem (which will shut the set down) is the problem in
this case. Scoped pin cir. (called E-W)waveform severely distorted. All
components checked normal. Called RCA Tech line.Tech said "couldn't find the
cause of the problem, right?, We'll just give you an authorization # for
the board." Apparently they have been giving out a lot of these boards.
Will post final results when the board arrives.
