[TechAssist] RCA DVD RC5200P Not Reading Disc

Make : RCA
Model : RC5200P DVD Player (1995)
Problem : Loads disc , laser pickup gives a quick pulse ( I can see red
laser spot) then gives a NO DISC osd.
Haven't really seen alot of DVD's come thru yet. Assume the laser pickup is
prob bad.....any way to be sure?
