Take a tuner and a flyback with you.
Whenever I am somewhere and can not complete the repair, the unit goes back
to the shop with me. I don't have time to run back and forth. Any Thomson
chassis after the ctc169 (except the 170/171/172s) for a CRT larger than 25"
can use any other CRT/yoke. Sure there will be pincushin distortions, but
the sets will run and you can troubleshoot them. I use a 25" CRT in shop
'cause it take less space than a 36"er.
IHVT for the ctc205ca5 chassis is 244247.
