[TechAssist] RCA CTC203CA5 model F32649 clicks 5 times

Hi techs.
This RCA CTC203CA5 model F32649, clicks 5 times and all 5 times
it tries to come on for 2 or 3 seconds, you can even perceive
a dim and somewhat shrinked raster for a fraction of a second
b4 it shuts down. Vertical is ok, audio is ok, no 12v at the tuner
(5v and 33v ok), problem goes on the same (5 clicks) even when
I leave HOT collector's leg floating, if I unsolder the vertical out IC,
you can see a dim horizontal line for a fraction of a second,
(pretty fast heathers!!) desoldering tuning and / or audio final ics
does not change anything.
I measured all that at the customer's (30 miles from my place)
and I got to come back to fix it on wednesday (so I hope!)
Have no schematic at the moment, no chipper check handy NO
IDEA ABOUT WHAT THE 5 (no more, no less) CLICKS MEAN!!!!
will appreciate any suggestions / tips / hints / clues
