 I'd install the RCA regulaor kit to avoid issues ...see part # below.

It Is Important To Note That The Kit Will Only Work On The Above Chassis...

For All Other Chassis The Regulator Is Different [Stp 12nb30] And The Part 
Number For The Regulator (Q4114)  Is 242204.
