OK, I ordered the jungle chip for this dog, but it didn't help. Still,
when I freeze the chip, everything returns to normal.
This morning, I wound up at the shop at 6AM, thanks to the time change.
I did some thinking, and thought to check the B+ to the chip.
The 9V to the Y/C/V VCC input is running 11.1V!
I'm going to change the Zener in the 9V regulator circuit Monday night,
and will report back on my progress.
Boy, will I be glad to spank this dog in the butt & send it home!
