[TechAssist] Pioneer CD player PD-M450, ribbon cable problem

I have a Pioneer CD player, model PD-M450 which has a very intermittant
ribbon cable from the laser to the main board. It appears as though the
cable is permanently connected at the laser end. Is this cable available
by itself or do you have to order the whole laser pickup?
Does anyone have part numbers for the cable and/ or the laser pickup?
