[TechAssist] Pioneer CD mod#PD-450,Manf/1991,noisy audio

This magazine type (6) CD player has what sounds to me like ''spindal-motor'' 
noise.This motor is a pain to replace so would like some feedback before I 
do.Tryed a drop of oil on top &sprayed some silicon cleaner inside but did not 
help.Is there a drive IC for this motor that might cause this problem?Also 
tryed a solder-up job &tightened all ground screws &checked filters in p/s.All 
i/p's welcome....TIA....Don......
