[TechAssist] Panasonic PVDM2799 No Start up

Make : Panasonic
Model : PVDM2799 27" Combo with VCR & DVD
Problem : Customer was fast forwarding a tape and it power off in mid Fast
Forward. Set is dead now except for flashing timer light. Pressing power
does nothing. Even tried a tip on unlock mode (Press Power & FF for a few
seconds)
We disassembled the vcr section & removed the tape. Checked all the fusible
links....all seems OK. VCR supplies seems to be up & running OK. This unit
has another supply for the DVD circuitry but difficult to tell what supply
is the main standby as both are fed A/C in standby mode.
Does anyone have a PDF of the standby/control circuitry on this model or a
tips that may apply
