Actually my comment doesn't make much sense, if you were able to
successfully jump the relay and bring up the high voltage then HV protection
is not the problem. Did you check all the flyback voltages when it was up?

Ken,

Just a thought, but could the HV protection circuitry be triggering the shut
down. Another possibility is the B+ circuitry, if B+ is running to high the
HV is high possibly shuting down the chassis. These are just thoughts, if
anyone knows better please advise.

I hope someone has a clue on this one.  Push power, set powers up and
shuts off.  Does develop HV.  Actually goes into shutdown.  Set must be
unplugged first for the cycle to repeat.

Everything we have checked is good.  If we jump the relay the set runs,
but with slick screen and no audio.  I suggested my tech replace the
EEPROM.  Pulled one from a junker.  Set worked.  Had video and audio.
Wasn't the right EEPROM, so many things didn't work right, but I was sure
we were on the right track.

Ordered new EEPROM from Tritronics.  Acted same as original.  Ordered
another EEPROM and the uP, thinking they might have to be replaced
together.

Still no joy!  Don't know where to go from here.  Please, help if you
can.
