Looking at schematic for CT-35G24A the 12 volt standby goes to pin 8  of 
the EEPROM and to pins 61 and 22 of the micro after L001. Also C008 at 
pin 8 of eeprom, C011 at pin 61 of micro and C020 at pin 22 of micro 
could short.
