I am 29 for just a few more weeks. I started this shop with another tech in 1997, bought him out in 2000, and am now a one-man deal. I became an ASC for Philips, Zenith, Thomson, Toshiba, Orion, Hitachi, and Samsung. Believe it or not, most of their warranty rates are slightly higher than what I can charge in this small southern town. I do have a friend that occasionally helps me after 5pm with large pickup/deliveries and some antenna jobs and installs. This year I have been veering toward some large digital surveillance systems installs, since there seems to be some money in that field right now.
