That is a fast switching transitor with a built in damper, mainly 8 amp, 45
watt, and 0.4us Tf. It is an all plastic case (SOT399) with a 10 MM
mounting tab. One transistor that matches all those specs would be a
2SD1880. There are several others that have the power but not the high
speed characteristics. John.
