We pick up the chassis and rebuild them in the shop if the CRT tests good,
which most do. We charge as follows:
2 service calls at $50.00 each
shop labor $240.00
caps $3.00 each (<1000 uF) or $4.50 each (>470 uF)
LA7838 $11.50 if needed
standard materials $2.00 on all jobs
solvent to wash electrolyte off circuit board $6.00 (we use denatured
alcohol)
Typical total ~$450.00 + tax
