Peter,
Does your set have a model number? We have been asking you guys many times to
include ALL information if you want the best help.
Did you check the HV out transistor and the emitter resistor?
If this is shorted and resistor open, look for a cracked blue tube.

Subject: [TechAssist] Magnavox PTV775 No Power Up
This Magnavox PTV775 is not coming on. I checked all fuses, the horiz out
transistor, the switching power supply FET, and all fuses. There is a
pulse of voltage on the collector of the horizontal out transistor when
the power button is pressed. Any common problems with this set? I don't
have a schematic.
