Peter, Flyback is a common fault on these. Also you can disconnect HV lead going to focus block. This should narrow the problem to a reduced area. If you find the problem is prior to the focus block and unable to locate faulty component on the large signal (deflection) panel, I normally send the panel to Tri-State for rebuilding. Cost is much less than Philips and saves me time.
