First Frank, you need more of a sig file.
Secondly, you need to find out what type of noise, squeal possibly from a coil,
buzzing from possible regulation problem, relay clicking, etc.
Only history I see on these is shorted HOT.

Hello all:
I'll be out this Monday for this big Magnavox TV.
Customer complain is :The unit will make a loud noise
out of the set (not speaker) then shut down. This may
happen once a day or multiple times a day. She gets to
unplug the unit then plug it back on to turn it on
again.
Since I am not familiar with this model, I would like
to know what I have to look for? CRT? Flyback?
Any help is appreciated.
