Paul,
      Working on same set now. Came in dead found/replaced D839,Q830
(shorted) and IC831 (all OEM)  Set now at plug in comes on with dim raster,
if you hit power button set comes on and works ok.. if you hit power button
again back to dim raster will not shut off.. Going around in circles on
this.. Had another one few months ago the B+ filter was bad..
