I'm not sure of the link, Ed. I just did a Google, of all things, and found one. I'll send it to you privately. If anyone else needs it, I'll send it to yas...but DO NOT ask on the list for it, or I will not respond... Ask privately. mailto:support@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Jeff Dougherty Intrepid Video TV/VCR 263 S Front St Steelton PA 17113 fax...717-564-4952 www.intrepid-video.com www.tech-repair.net ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tel-Tek" <teltek3@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <techassist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, March 10, 2004 6:43 PM Subject: [TechAssist] Re: MUL-3333 capacitor tester any good??????? Jeff; I was going to mention that, about the numbers wearing off, but thought it was maybe my big fingers. That's the only thing I found that the white paint starts to wear a little. Maybe he could improve on the silk screening. But besides that, if you got a bad cap, it's bang on. Get a feel for it after using it a few times. Where is the download for ESR worst Values. Could use one myself. By the way...I accidentally put my ESR probes where I thought my meter probes should go....about 130V DC. Got a little spark..but never bothered the ESR Meter.;-) -Ed- -Ed- Tel-Tek Electronics Ontario-Canada teltek3@xxxxxxxxxxxx -----Original Message----- From: techassist-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:techassist-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Intrepid Video Support Sent: Wednesday, March 10, 2004 6:17 PM To: techassist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [TechAssist] Re: MUL-3333 capacitor tester any good??????? I've been using my Dick Smith meter for probably at least 6 or 7 years...Only thing that has ever happened is replacing the 9-volt battery every few months. I bought the kit for $45, I think. I'm not sure if the price has gone up... I had to go online and download a new ESR 'approx worse value' chart since my had worn off after all these years. I use it also to test those low value resistors where my DVM doesn't go that low, accurately. You can also use it to check inductance. Hi guys..........I have the same question! What meter is the most popular tester used by the members for in-circuit testing? The MUL-3333 is cheap, but is it any good?
