Hi Jeff,

Thank you for the tips from the T R CD. The solution was similar to the
second tip.

After many hours and swapping of parts, the problem turned out to be 1
of 2 15K-3 watt resistors in parallel going open. R245 and R250 supply
150 volts to 9 volt zener diode which supplies 9 volts to pin 26 of IC
101. How in the world could only one go open when they are both in
parallel with each other? =20

Hi fellow techs,

Relay clicks on, B+ goes to 155 volts, should be 125. No HV. Vcc for
TA8680 is only 0.6 volts, should be 9 volts for 15kHz output. Tried to
trace VCC source (9 volts) but couldn=92t find it. Does anyone have the
schematic for this TV? It looks like this TV is in shutdown mode. TIA
