Yeah, it's like Democrats and Republicans! LOL
From my experience, NESDA never acted like a "union".
NESDA would cease to exist if it weren't for its manufacturer benefactors.

The main problem is the "NESDA ruling elete" who often use their elected
position to get cozy deals with the manufacturers for THEMSELVES. They also
dominate the decsion making process, serving on most committees
as well (while complaining about doing all the work). Yet they will deny the
rank and file opportunity to participate.

Many of these guys become "national exclusive product specialists" or refurb
centers after obtaining  NESDA office.
Coincidence or conspiracy? You decide!
It's happened too many times over the decades for my taste.

If you want training,  become an authorized service center.
If you want insurance groups or credit card processing, you local chamber or
state retail association can help you. Better yet, they want your
partication for the greater good!
