Are Q731 & Q733 In the same channel? If so whenever I troubleshoot an amp without a manual I leave the deffective outputs out a fire it up to see if the other channel works OK. If it does then I use it to troubleshoot the bad channel. I'm assuming you checked for proper B+ , B- and bias on the transistors you changed. Also, don't be brain dead like I am some times, make sure the tape monitor in not on and check to see that there is not an open preamp loop on the back of the unit.
