Jeff, See if this helps... From Tech Repair CD: Hitachi\43UWX10B\Intermittent convergences then stayed out. Magic focus did nothing\+5V to DCU. Found bad solder joint jumper PDK3 pin3 11V's going to 5V Reg. convergences still out. All other voltages to DCU ok\Changed both STK392-110\DP14G\Found bad solder joint jumper PDK3 pin3 11V's going to 5V Reg\After restoring +5V to DCU two of the DCU parameters were wrong. Reset parameters. Reset convergence. My first thought was to change the eprom but the location is not in the schematic (nothing from inside the can)----AND Hitachi tech assist couldn't tell me either. I'd rather not transplant all four 8 pin surface mount IC's if I don't have to. At this point it would be quicker just to swap it out if I knew which one it is. I'm tired of trying to converge it well enough to look up to MY specs.
