        Found the problem..D707 opening up under load. Looks like 12
Volt supply. I put in a diode Original 1A2NK..subbed with a NTE116. Runs
pretty warm, but maybe it does. Seem to no other problems. Vertical is
good, regulation is good. So I'll let it run for a couple of hours, and
see what happens.

    I have seen on some Hitachi's they have a pico fuse for the B+ to
the
vert IC.
