This unit was manufactured in May 2000. I did flex the board and tap on the
componets while the unit was operating and found no change. I also checked
the collector of the 3 transistors on the CRT board and found between 136
and 142 volts on each. I also did a quick diode check on the diodes on the
board and found nothing unusual. Since the screen is normally blue when
video is not present, it leads me to believe that I may have a video
problem. But why is it shutting down when the screen control is turned up?
And how about those retrace lines................?
