The TV alone would play for ever. Insert a tape and play,and in 30
seconds it would shut off totally like HV shut-down. I removed the
deck,cleaned the I/R diodes, prism, and replaced the large clear light
house I/R diode in center. It was the same as my normally stocked
Philips # 483513087139 used in their funai chassis VCRs. (In combis it's
D511, in VCRs it's D205 in the Philips units). Has ran now for a half
hour. 'Bout time I fix one of these!
