Ken,
See if that set has a C458 (1mfd/160V) in the horizontal and an R007 (5.6
ohm, 2w) in the regulator circuit. If so, try replacing the cap and checking
that resistor. What does the B+ measure and does it fluctuate? I do not have
a manual either.
