Jerry, That is in Sam's #3783. I don't have it. I assume the resistor you found open is the infamous R106, 39K, 1 watt. Should have your tuning voltage on tuner pin Tb. If not, check for shorted zener near tuner or the supply voltage to R106. I believe the supply side of R106 was over 100 vdc.
