That was good work! Problem is that without a circuit diagram you can pass over some bad caps testing with an esr meter in-circuit. To be sure you have to desolder at least one cap lead before testing. With a diagram, you can see which caps dont have coils or additional caps connected that can fool the esr meter. Then only the other ones need to be desoldered to test. If the unit will power up at all I find it a little faster to look at the caps under power with a scope. Lots of hash means a high esr cap. Most things have only one electrolytic causing the major symptom. Replacing more of them could be considered preventative maintenance.
