We get in GoVideo dual deck vcrs that use those eproms. Usually the symptom is no audio and the video headswitching is about 180 degrees off. Reprogram the eprom and all is well. Unplug power and we are back where we started. We have had to replace the eprom on every one of those. I think we arte really just reprogramming the micro, which sends that data to the eprom, and just loads it back to the micro after a power interruption.
