OK... I'm open for suggestions as to how it went down. You tell me...
Originally, the monitor did not fire up. Traced it out and found the flyback
only had two small, almost non existant rings on the scope, mostly flat lined.
With other monitors on the computer, the horizontal frequency was way off.
After much problems trying to change the display settings, the drivers were
deleted and re-installed and the computer works. Is it possible the drivers got
corrupted at turn on and zapped the flyback? I would think it was more likly a
spike zapped the drivers. Please tell me in what order this thing went down?
It does seem strange that both went out at the same time with nothing related.
It is probably the old saying "which came first...the chicken or the egg".
