Li ion are usually the most expensive but don't always last
longer that a Metal Hydride, which I forget what it's real
initials are. They both last longer than a Nicad. They have
no 'memory' effect like NiCads or lithium batteries do,
although the lithiums have less of a memory problem that
NiCad. NiCad is usually the cheapest and not as good. They
and the Li ion have to be 'exercised' or they will go bad
faster, the Nicad requiring more. Metal Hydride is the best
value. Li ion are usually available for laptop computers.

Subject: [TechAssist] Camcorder Batteries

Guys;
Need a quick lesson on Camcorder Batteries.
What's the advantage of buying a NiMi Battery over NiCd
batteries.
And also Li Lon batteries, which isn't available for my
camera, but would be
nice to know.
Maybe someone has run a cross a website, they could point me
to.

Thanks.
