As for the width, it may have intermittantly low B+. See a recent fix of mine for dead set, blinking power LED: In the power supply area is a small "B+" pot. It had silicon sealant on it.I removed as much as I could and slightly turned it with a small slotted screw driver and the set came alive. Think it had a bad spot on the wiper? I turned it thru the range and the width went from narrow to excessively wide.I set it with a slight overscan and will try it tomorrow. Check the PS and resolder all over incl jungle.
