Measurements will vary. The only reliable thing that you can check with your meter is that the diode forward biases. Just use a limiting resistor and hook up to a variable dc supply and measure the zener voltage and leakage current. Hi am I supposed to get reverse leakage on this diode I am getting 100 k on it and also 2 more new diodes .On a 10 volt zener I dont get any back reading. Is this normal on a 3 volt diode. This diode is in a ctc169 direct view diode# CR4122--rca#200158.anyone have one they can measure the forward and back to check it for me,,Thanks Eric -- Eric E M Electronics 59 Wights Rd Deer Lake NL Canada A8A 2J2 Ph# 709 635 2627 tvman@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ----- This Email List is accessible to the general public through search engines.
