[TechAssist] ATX Computer-How does it start up?

ATX Motherboard- Computer had 'No Power'.
Checked power supply - works OK
Checked continuity on front panel switch to ckt bd connector - OK
Pulled ckt bd and checked physically - look OK. Ground continuity from
switch connector to power connector is fine. Cannot trace where the 'Plus'
side of switch goes to.
There has to be some sort of 'latching' ckt to connect the power up pin on
power supply to ground to keep it turned on. There are four TO-220
transistors on the board - the ones I can read are FET's marked G-D-S. They
are heat-sinked and some are hidden behind capacitors. If I have to pull
'em, I have to.
Any insight appreciated
