What you need to do is turn "Vacation Mode" on for your address on the list. There is now an easy way to do this - go to //www.freelists.org/list/tcug enter your e-mail address and select "Turn Vacation mode on" from the drop down list. When you get back do the same and select "Turn Vacation mode off". You can catch up on what you missed by visiting the list archive, which you can also get to from that web page.
