Brian! He just way out of line on his asking prices. I recently (18 months ago) sold a single cab with very minimal rust and in good condition sans engine for $4,000. Except for the lack of an engine it was in much better condition than that described by your friend for his daily driver SC. A fair price for that SC is probably in the range of $5,000-$6,000; maybe a little more but not much. --- On Wed, 1/7/09, Brian Denning <i_am_cool_fred@xxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: From: Brian Denning <i_am_cool_fred@xxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: [tcb] Re: who needs a single cab To: tcb@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Date: Wednesday, January 7, 2009, 12:06 PM #yiv1121387691 .hmmessage P { margin:0px;padding:0px;} #yiv1121387691 { font-size:10pt;font-family:Verdana;} i can think of someone who used to be a tcb member who would ask far more outrages prices than that ;) not you but someone else Date: Wed, 7 Jan 2009 09:13:09 -0800 From: bugcollections@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [tcb] Re: who needs a single cab To: tcb@xxxxxxxxxxxxx What has he been smoking Brian? --- On Wed, 1/7/09, Brian Denning <i_am_cool_fred@xxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: From: Brian Denning <i_am_cool_fred@xxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: [tcb] who needs a single cab To: tcb@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Date: Wednesday, January 7, 2009, 9:27 AM http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=719864 or perhaps this one http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=699218 they belong to a friend. i'm spreading the word. tell him i sent ya if you're interested Windows LiveTM Hotmail®: Chat.
