[tcb] Re: oil leak....still

Okay, if it's a rear seal it'll make a puddle when you park it.  Same
goes for valve cover, pushrod tube, oil cooler etc.  If the left side of
the engine or cylinders has oil on them then it's an oil cooler or oil
cooler seal.

What's the condition of the exhaust.  Is it sooty or wet?  Also what
amount of oil is coming out of the breather tube below the tin.  If
there's oil on the header or exhaust that's an indication of crankcase
pressure blowby.

Since there's a slight vacuum behind the bus as you drive it then any
oil dropplets will cling right back onto the bus.  It's one of those
unique VW features.
