To remove/replace the emblem you need to take all of the high-tech Bay Window air conditioning components out from under the dash. All of the parts that direct air from the front flaps to the dash wing vents. If you've never had those out then be prepared to go buy some narrow foam-rubber weather stripping to replace the stuff that will crumble away. Don't just pull on the old one. The holes.pins/clips are high enough that you can't reach them effectively by just reaching up with the kick panels removed.
